After several years of minor improvements, we have finally perfected our tire, gasoline and high lift jack carriers. Special features include a pin insert to lock your carrier open when parked on a hill, extremely secure latch, easy to operate handle for easy opening, backing plates for stress relief on body, and easy removal & assembly. Once you have your tire carrier mounted, you can remove it by simply removing 2 bolts. You can add this to our rear bumper at any time. All wheels will fit on this carrier. Steel wheels require spacers, which are included at no extra charge if you need them. This carrier with handle 2 full size gas cans, like the one in the picture below. |

THE NEW DOUBLE SWING TIRE CARRIER AND GAS CAN SHELF |

This super efficient heavy duty double swing tire carrier and gas can shelf was an instant success at our last Vanagon and Westfalia cookout and camping trip this past year. The drivers side of the swing away carrier holds your spare tire and can be swung out independently from the right side. Like the left side, the right side gas can carrier can be swung away independently from the left side. The folding gas can shelf will hold 4 full sized gas cans at the same time! If you don't take extra gasoline on certain outings, you can use it to carry an ice chest, camping gear, or anything else that may take up your interior space. I took the prototype out for the Rocky Mountain Westy camp out this past year and used the shelf to carry the ice chest, then after setting up camp, used it as a camp stove table. It worked perfectly and even supports the small propane tank at a safe distance from the burners. Each side can be purchased separately if you only need or want one or the other on your van. A second tire carrier bracket can be added on the right section in the future, if you want to carry 2 spare tires. |
