VANAGON BUMPERS and SKID PLATE PROTECTION |

Rocky Mountain Westy has designed the ultimate Bumpers for your Vanagon. These bumpers are built from Heavy Duty steel and are welded by a certified master welder and professionally powder coated. They will add a new look, protection and functionality to your Vanagon or Vanagon Westfalia camper. Front receivers are available on most styles too.

This is the one you've been waiting for. Built tough as nails, looks cool as can be, and has every feature you could want in a front bumper. The 2" .120 wall tubing serves as front end protection, while not being too bulky or taking any side or ground clearance away. There is an over rider brush guard that covers the turn signals and adds more front end protection. There is also tow loops that allow you to hook a come-a-long or any sort of hook or strap to it and either lock down your van, pull your van out of trouble, or pull something else around the campsite or property. Also, there are built in light tabs so you can add extra lighting lower to the ground to help you see on your off the map explorations. The front hitch receiver is available on this model for an additional cost, please request this option when ordering by phone. Then you'll be ready for our new winch mount coming to the Rocky Mountain Westy web site very soon. It will slide into your receiver.

VANAGON REAR BUMPER |
||||
Rocky Mountain Westy has built the ultimate set of bumpers for your VW Vanagon. The rear bumper is built from heavy wall steel tubing. The tubes are all .120 wall thickness. We use a variety of different size tubing on each bumper. The main lower cross piece is made using 2" diameter tubing. The over riders on each side are made from 1 3/4" tubing. We've built in a hitch receiver to hold your bike rack, cargo carrier or trailer ball. The step is made from 1/8" steel plate. It is a solid step that makes loading and unloading your Vanagon a snap.
Our bumper is also equipped with tow hook holes on both sides. We decided to use this design so you could use a variety of different tow hooks available at your local hardware or automotive parts store.
Heavy duty mounts that attach the bumper to the van are standard. Our mount uses three bolts per side. We use the two factory bolts plus one extra bolt to mount the bumper. The third bolt mounts in a factory hole in your Vanagon. There is no drilling required for this rear bumper.
These bumpers are all built to accept our rear tire carriers, single or double swing design, for a complete bumper system. Check out our bumper & tire carrier combo package to save money and have all the goodies at once.
Our bumpers are all professionally powder coated. We powder coat our production bumpers with a textured black semi gloss finish. It looks fantastic and is extremely durable and easy to clean.

Here at Rocky Mountain Westy we are always introducing exciting new products to the Vanagon community worldwide. The creation of the Mt. Antero front bumper is no exception. We've been flooded with emails and letters asking us to make a full coverage bumper for the Vanagon. Our designers and product developers have come up with this new sleek and heavy duty front bumper. We are still testing the waters with this bumper before we go into a full production run. We are asking for a minimum amount of people to commit to purchasing a Mt. Antero front bumper in the next few weeks, to make a small production run possible.
