conversion kit July 29, 2015
Reviewer: Derrick Burton from Chesapeake, VA United States
It took about two weeks, but sure enough, 3 boxes showed up at my door. I just had a chance to open them up and everything looks good. I will start the strip out of the Subaru this week, and start prep on the engine. This is a summer project, so it will take a while before I know if I have any real issues with the kit. However, right now everything looks top notch.

Excellent kit, no wire harness instructions July 28, 2015
Reviewer: Adam Lazenby from Portland, OR United States
The build quality is fantastic and all of the mounting brackets for the various bits and pieces are well thought out. The instructions were clear enough for me to perform the engine swap without any questions. It all went together cleanly the first try and started first time I turned the key. I get numerous comments about how clean the engine install looks. If you are hoping the Magnaflow exhaust will cause your van to sound like an STI you will be disappointed. The exhaust path is still that of a Vanagon, but an exceptionally good sounding Vanagon.

Modifying the wiring harness required the largest amount of pacience. The instructions for this kit DID NOT include modifying the wiring harness. Seeing that I had not done this before I was hoping for a touch of guidance. I ended up purchasing some instructions from another source, which were little more than Excel spreadsheet, but that was enough to show me what wires were needed and what connected to what.

This is the kit to use December 21, 2014
Reviewer: Mark Griffiths from Calgary, AB Canada
I did my homework and chose the Westy kit over others, although they all appear to be very good. The service and friendliness dealing with RMW before the purchase helped put my mind at ease. Shipping to Canada was quick, not too expensive, and the parts are top quality.
